Intended for my visible analysis job I chose to visit visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It has been an incredibly long time seeing that I last visited a museum. We took my personal twelve year old son with me to explore the actual museum had to offer. We located the artwork to be very interesting, educational and unique. There was so many gorgeous pieces throughout the museum that it was difficult trying to decide which a single I wanted to base my visual analysis on.

Walking through LACMA there is a section that caught my own eye and found it to be of interest to me. That section was the Greek, Roman, and Etruscan Fine art which was found on the Ahmanson Building, Level several. There were several unique pieces such as urns, jewelry and sculptures. I selected the figurine of Wish Athena to perform my aesthetic analysis since I found it to be amazing. Athena was obviously a Greek goddess of intelligence and battle. The sculpture at LACMA is a Roman, 2nd century copy after a Greek first of the late 5th century BC College of Pheidias. The figurine was made out of marbled with natural colors. In parts the color was dull with hues of ivory and golden brownish. The shape with the body was rectangular with broad shoulder blades. The figurine had her arms missing. Her head was circular with curly hair coming down in vertical ocean. She was wearing a soldier helmet coming from my watch point I really could not notify what the head protection had upon it. The headgear gave her a powerful appear. Her cosmetic expression appeared reflective with facial features being shaped and easy. The eye sockets were hollow and dark. Her nose was damaged and her upper and lower lip area were slim. One of the points of interest for me was how her robe or perhaps drapery had such depth throughout the sculpture. It draped around her body with great depth with top to bottom creases and folds offering the sculpture a realistic appear.
